The Swiss Charity Concert

The Swiss Charity Concert is a benefit concert in aid of the children’s rights organisation Save the Children, supported by the management consultancy Kearney. In 2011, the concert series was launched by management consultant, conductor and pianist Victor Dijon de Monteton. The Swiss Charity Award presented in this context promotes young, talented musicians and offers them the opportunity to perform at the concert.

Concert for a good Cause

By attending the concert, you support the world’s leading independent children’s rights organization, Save the Children, which is committed to helping disadvantaged children in crisis and conflict regions around the world.

One in five deaths among children under five is due to malnutrition. Hunger is destroying the lives of children worldwide: Instead of playing with their friends, children are too weak to even stand up. And instead of learning with childlike curiosity, children have to work to support their families to have enough food and income.

Save the Children aims to give these children a healthy start in life and thus the chance of a future. In the projects, for example, Save the Children distributes drinking water and food parcels. In addition, they provide medical care and support families in building sustainable sources of income.
